   I think it's a little less sinister than that. The recent release of the   
   names that Thomas Massie uncovered clearly shows a well connected boys   
   club of the rich and powerful. I suspect there are tons more. Trump is   
   trying to protect his buddies, not himself. The left was/is so intent on   
   getting Trump that there is no way on earth they didn't comb through   
   those files during the campaign against Biden and try to get him on   
   something. Problem for them is there's nothing there. Plus, their   
   fingerprint are all over it too, and many of them are as well connected   
   as Trump.   
      
   What I am surprised about is that they didn't just conjure up something   
   that is false. Fuck, they made up shit with the Steele Dossier, and even   
   used to as a basis of FISA shenanigans. Nothing is beneath scuzzy   
   democrats, and it's still early so I suppose anything can happen.   
      
   Anyway, the rate at which the left keeps striking out is laughable.
