   A severe winter storm system is moving across five states today,   
   bringing up to 12 inches of snow and dangerous wind chills. The National   
   Weather Service has issued warnings for whiteout conditions on mountain   
   passes in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah, urging drivers to delay travel or
