   The fact that he focuses on minutiae and periphery instead of the topic is the   
   biggest red flag. This is called Diversionary Reframing. He can't win the   
   actual   
   argument, so he creates a mini-game (the search for the post) where he   
   controls the rules.   
   How to actually win?   
      
   You have to accept that he already knows he's a liar. You aren't "revealing"   
   anything to him by calling him out. He knows. He just likes that you're still   
   talking to him.   
      
   The brutal truth: To a person like this, hatred is still intimacy. As long as   
   you are typing insults at him, he is relevant.   
      
   The ultimate insult to a narcissist is being ignored. Not a "final word" post,   
   but a total, silent, permanent withdrawal of your attention. It is the only
