   Tourists tie piles of trash - including tampons, condoms,   
   panties - to NYC's Brooklyn Bridge in disgusting trend ..   
   Scores of dirty tissues, hairbands, condoms, tampons and even   
   panties are being tied to a doomed fence in the middle of the   
   iconic span every day .. The nasty trend has been plaguing   
   the Brooklyn Bridge on-and-off for years, but skyrocketed in   
   recent weeks .. "It's just f-king disgusting," said Baum, 37,   
   saying she's been met with "detractors" who say the trash wall   
   is a symbol of global art ..   
      
   "It's good luck," one litterbug said after tying plastic to   
   the fence .. "The bridge is so iconic, and it's like leaving   
   a part of us behind," ..

   Well, mass tourists tend to be somewhat vandalic everywhere,   
   but they turn especially vandalic if they feel an appropriate   
   'atmosphere' of the place. Trash aesthetic is in harmony with   
   decadent, nihilist spirit. So that's also one of the marks of
