|    Les Wexner's attorney caught on hot mic     |

XPost: alt.lawyers, alt.politics.republicans, talk.politics.guns       XPost: sac.politics, alt.politics.liberalism       From: noreply@mixmin.net              A lawyer for billionaire Les Wexner apparently had enough of the       businessman’s long-winded answers during a deposition before House       Oversight Committee investigators earlier this week — and was caught on       a hot mic bluntly telling him to keep his answers to questions about his       relationship with Jeffrey Epstein short and sweet.              “I will f–king kill you if you answer another question with more than       five words, OK?” attorney Michael Levy whispered to Wexner about four       and a half hours into the former Victoria’s Secret owner’s deposition in       the congressional Epstein probe.              The wild moment was captured on video footage of Wexner’s deposition,       which was released in its entirety by the committee on Thursday.              Wexner, 88, had been asked about how often the disgraced financier       performed work for him and proceeded to ramble about all his possessions       that needed inventorying, something he explained he didn’t realize was       important until he hired Epstein.              Wexner laughed after receiving the advice from his attorney, the footage       showed.              Levy did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.              Wexner was adamant that he did not “witness, condone or enable” any of       Epstein’s sex crimes.              The LBrands CEO described Epstein, who managed his wealth for decades,       as a “world Olympic con artist” and accused him of having “stolen vast       sums” of his fortune before Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor       for prostitution in 2008.              “I completely and irrevocably cut ties with Epstein nearly 20 years ago       when I learned that he was an abuser, a crook and a liar,” Wexner said       in his prepared remarks. “I was never a participant nor co-conspirator       in any of Epstein’s illegal activities.”              In his testimony, Wexner acknowledged visiting Epstein on his infamous       island in the Caribbean once with his wife, describing it as “crummy”       and “a pile of rocks.”              Asked about a salacious letter he wrote for a book compiled ahead of       Epstein’s 50th birthday, Wexner said he was “trying to be funny.”              “He was a bachelor so I drew a pair of boobs,” the lingerie magnate told       investigators.              Wexner could not recall ever being with Epstein and Donald Trump at the       same time, but noted they may have “coincidentally” crossed paths at a       Victoria’s Secret fashion show.              “Jeffrey Epstein held [Trump] out as a friend,“ Wexner said, suggesting       that he didn’t actually know if the two were close.              Asked about ex-Prince Andrew, Wexner claimed that they only had “one       brief, like, two-sentence phone conversation” about buying and selling       aircraft.              “I never met Prince Andrew … So I wasn’t aware of anything,” he said of       the disgraced royal, who was detained for hours Thursday by British       authorities over allegations that he shared state secrets with Epstein.              The testimony appeared to disprove accusations from Reps. Ro Khanna       (D-Calif.) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who claimed Wexner was one of six       men “likely incriminated” by his Epstein ties, citing the retail maven’s       appearance in millions of investigative materials released by the       Department of Justice in late January.              Federal prosecutors initially listed Wexner as a potential       co-conspirator following Epstein’s arrest in July 2019, but the FBI       found “limited evidence regarding his involvement,” according to an       email from a New York Field Office agent included in the DOJ’s Epstein       files.              Epstein died by suicide in his Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial       on child sex-trafficking charges.              https://nypost.com/2026/02/20/us-news/les-wexners-attorney-caught-on-hot-       mic-saying-hell-fking-kill-the-ex-victorias-secret-ceo-during-jeffrey-eps       tein-probe-deposition/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
