   For a rock band, I see something more like this:   
      
   Usagi - Drums (because she'll find them most fun)   
   Rei - Keyboards (because we already know she can play them)   
   Ami - Bass (no real reason for this choice)   
   Makoto - Guitar and miscellaneous instruments   
   Minako - Lead guitar   
      
   And yeah, they all sing. ^_^
