   I'd say the average iss much lower than 3 a day (except in very small   
   spurts like right now).  Even alt.fan.utena gets more posts than a.f.s-m   
   anymore.  Of course, maybe AFU was big during its heyday too (only   
   started reading and posting there back in January at the insistence of   
   Starlight Knight), but I really can't imagine it having been as popular   
   as AFSM back in the day.  We've really diminished.  Did things get   
   busier back when PGSM was coming out?  I didn't realize I still had   
   Usenet access for quite awhile, and I also didn't see PGSM until well   
   after a large amount of the buzz was already over and done with.
