Starlight Knight and I are also currently doing a       rewatch of Sailor Moon since we've acquired all of the commercial DVD       releases. We're not managing 200 episodes in 200 days, but we're       staying on track pretty well (often watching 2 or 3 episodes an evening       if we feel up to it).              It really surprised me just how much fun the show still is. I still find       myself laughing and loving it. And this time around, it's been so long       since I've seen the dubs that I can give certain characters (Rei) a fair       shake. This is SK's first time watching the first season in Japanese,       and it will be both of our first times seeing R in Japanese (plus, I       only saw a handful of the "newly dubbed episodes" when they first       aired), so we're both getting to see some new stuff we'd never seen       before. And the series still stands the test of time. Sure it's not my       favorite anime anymore (Revolutionary Girl Utena stole my heart), but it       still means a lot to me, and it's still tops on the 'nostalgia' list.                     Sunnie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
