From: chriskern99@gmail.com              Episode 15 - Usagi's impatience! Rei's first date              Quick summary: Nephrite's target is an old man, the caretaker of a       park. Rei takes Mamoru there on a date.              This is the first episode to start developing Mamoru's character a       little more, but his conduct isn't very becoming. I said before that       he's 20 or 21 but I think he's more like 18 in the anime -- still,       it's pretty surprising that he agrees to go on a date with Rei. Rei       is wearing her school uniform (it's not unusual for girls in Japan to       wear their school uniform even outside of school), and anyone who       lives in the area would know that's a middle school uniform. Dating       is apparently against the rules (yes, Japanese schools often make       rules that govern their students' lives outside of school, such as       whether they can visit other towns by themselves on the weekends), so       Mamoru is really just marking himself as a pedo. My guess (to be       charitable) is that he senses some connection between himself and Rei.              One thing I like about Moon Tiara Action is that it's so much shorter       than later really time-consuming ones like Moon Gorgeous Meditation       and Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss, which are almost as long as the       transformation sequences.              I like the chipmunks that attack the guy throwing his cigarette on the       ground.              -Chris              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
