   But would those uses have been worth the cost? Presumably he'd have   
   to spend that juice he's been collecting to do it, and that juice was   
   earmarked for other purposes.   
      
   Thinking about it, Jadeite has only two goals, to gather juice, and to   
   lay a trap for the opposition. Killing people directly gets in the   
   way of goal number one, and juice draining operations work just fine   
   as bait for the opposition. So what would setting the city on fire   
   actually accomplish?

   But he saw them at the temple. At the least he knows who Rei is once   
   he's no longer blinded by the Plot Device Field.
