   I'll disagree with you on this one. It always seemed to me that, at the   
   last moment, Nephrite was about to change his ways for love of Naru. I   
   never found it forced; it seems to me more like a Greek tragedy, where   
   there's this sudden turning point that could have made a big difference,   
   and it ends up getting cut short by death. I always thought Nephrite had   
   goodness inside of him, and he was on the verge of uncovering it when he   
   died.
