   Another thing to consider is that the acquisition of human energy is   
   purely a stop-gap measure. What Beryl really wanted from the beginning   
   is the ginzuishou. In the first episode, she said if they could not   
   find the crystal, then they would use human energy instead. Since the   
   ginzuishou is local to Japan, there would be no need for them to focus   
   their time and energy anywhere else.
