From: phoenix@mediaone.net              The incidental dialog that is not critical to the story is completely       different between the two versions (For example, the conversation       between Yuuichiro and Rei: In the original, he suggests maybe the       weather is affecting Grandpa's behavior. In the dub, he is speaking       about how the peaceful nature of the temple and Grandpa's training may       cure his stage-fright (he is a rock star in the dub version).              However the vital points are accurately translated other then extreme       localization of the language (serious nega-vibes, anyone?). Compared       to some others, it was not a bad job. There is even a side-story about       how Chad/Yuuichiro is undergoing training to cure his stage-fright. He       claims it got cured when he stood up for Rei in the monster fight. She       kissed him as a way of congratulating him for his achievement. There       was no talk of marriage at the end however. The whole chase scene was       cut and they were simply running from the prospect of Chad breaking       into song. However, you can hear Raye and Serena arguing off-screen as       Amy and Lita show up so that's how they knew that things were back to       normal.              The foggy glasses are still on, but they were not too cloudy this time       around.              BTW, the Sailor Says praises our senior citizens and encourages us to       treat them with respect.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
