Good to know I'm not just getting cynical. ^_- I do remember having a
fairly big reaction to these episodes initially, but also because they
were the very first episodes of Sailor Moon that I ever saw, therefore I
was blown away by how different it was from my favorite cartoons at that
time--Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures (still love those.) The second
time I saw them (probably dubbed again), I still got into it pretty
thoroughly as well. But this time, I just felt they were lacking what
later series had in the way of drama.

I didn't see Stars until a year ago. I sobbed through much of those
last episodes, and broke down again at the end because it was the end of
an era for me. ^_^; Of course, I also cried during various parts of
   PGSM. I'm such a sap.
