As       far as I can tell, the dub didn't actually say that he was out of       work, but rather training to overcome his stage fright (which he did       in the first episode he appeared). I guess the only reason that he is       still around in the dub is that he likes Rei... maybe.              In keeping with the dub's effort to make the characters more       superficial, they changed the fireplace conversation alot. When Rei       asked Yuuichiro about why he continued to train at the shrine when he       had such a rich family, in the original he said that he wanted to       become a better person. You could see that Rei was impressed by that.       In the dub, he simply quips back a joke asking if Rei is going to kick       him out now. That entire moment is lost here, even the little side       converstation between Usagi and Rei was cut leaving you to wonder why       Serena/Usagi has her hand cupped in Rei's direction with a suspicious       look on her face.              When Rei made that most noble gesture, her eyes glistening with loss,       pointing to Sailor Moon and reminding TM that Sailor Moon was the one       he loved the most, in the dub, she only said that here is Sailor Moon,       the princess for whom he is searching.              The foggy glasses are back to full force in this episode, all of those       wonderful, touching, bonding moments were muted and diminished.              >Of course the highlight of this episode for most people is the       >heart-to-heart between Rei and Usagi, where Rei acknowledges that       >she's given up on Mamoru (and that there really never was anything       >there).              I agree, this was one of those Sailor Moon moments that reminds you in       full force just why this is such a wonderful series.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
