   I'm amused.  Right after they showed the cat thing, SK turned to me and   
   said almost exactly what you typed.   
      
   I decided to just pretend it's more of that residual psychic powers or   
   something.  Give the writers the benefit of the doubt. ^_-

   SK and I came into our rewatch jokingly saying we'd be looking for   
   'evidence'.  The fact that we feel we've truly found some, and the fact   
   that it all seems to be coming from Ami (aside from the 'extra viewing'   
   in 31) has been extremely surprising.  We might have to do some rework   
   on the RP/fanfic we're working on.... Or at the very least, add a bit   
   more backstory to certain parts.
