One of the more       poignant points in the season thus far.              Anyway, I had totally forgotten about Minako faking her death. It was a       very juvenile decision, but she shows just how much she's grown up when       she realizes that it wasn't Katarina stealing Alan, but rather Alan       choosing Katarina. I rather liked that she was able to see beyond her       own hurt feelings.              On the other hand, as noted, Sailor Moon/Usagi was somewhat out of       character. First off was the whole desire to kill the youma, and then       she was suddenly a little too understanding at the end, telling the       others not to go to Minako and all. Neither seemed to be particularly       in character. I mean, that's not to say Usagi doesn't understand when       others want to be alone, but her explanation (basically that none of       them were mature enough to help) seemed a bit off to me. It was just a       touch too insightful, which might be seen as growth if it hadn't been so       abrupt.              That, and I still think Minako needs a hug.              Sunnie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
