   I always assumed that she'd try to save everyone. Seems kind of strange   
   that she'd knowingly die, just to save 5 people (and 2 cats) when she had   
   the power to help the rest too.   
      
   ... and no, I don't know what the point was to re-incarnate the whole moon   
   population as humans in Earths future. They wouldn't know they are re-   
   incarnated, they wouldn't live any longer than any other humans, unless   
   there is some other potential there that's not explored in the series.
