   Now that we've finished with the original series, I wanted to make   
   some quick comments on the whole thing.  Somehow I didn't find the   
   original series quite as good as I remembered it.  There's an awful   
   lot of filler, and much of it is rather mediocre filler.  By the time   
   SMS comes around, the creators had figured out how to make really   
   interesting and memorable filler.  There's just too little plot   
   development crammed all into a few episodes.   
      
   But, as far as conclusions go, this one is pretty good.  My favorite   
   conclusion is still Stars, but the first part of episode 46 is one of   
   the most intense sequences in all 200 episodes.   
      
   Now we're moving on to R.  I'm looking forward to watching this -- in   
   some ways it will be like a completely new season for me.  The Doom   
   Tree and Rubeus episodes I have only seen dubbed, once, 10 years ago.   
   The rest of the episodes I watched fairly quickly on tiny real media   
   files mainly for the purpose of just completing the series -- I don't   
   remember enjoying it all that much.  On the whole, I barely remember   
   anything about R, so it will be interesting to watch.
