Mysterious aliens appear       >                     Is it just me, or in this opening, is Usagi a lot more melancholy than       before? Sailor Moon still seems cheerful enough, but Usagi looks rather       sad.              If you listen to how the names are said, it’s clearly Ali and En. Ugh,       the puns.              It’s been two months since the end of Episode 46. Usagi is 14 and in       the eighth grade. She’s in class 2-1 under poor Haruna-sensei while Ami       is in class 2-5. Usagi knows of Ami by reputation, but not much more,       it seems. The look on Ami’s face when Usagi soaks the teacher is priceless.              Usagi’s grades have not improved. 30 points… ouch. She has clearly       resumed the adversarial relationship with Mamoru.              A meteor (not a Rotting Potato of Doom, though that would be much       cooler) falls in the middle of the city, then promptly flies away to       find an apartment. Why? Because meteors have trouble booking motel       rooms without proper ID, of course, so there wasn’t time for shopping       around. ^_^;              All of the girls, plus Mamoru end up going out to investigate. Usagi       ends up between Ami and Makoto, and is hit by a sense of déjà vu.              It’s kinda funny how jealous Ann gets over Ail paying attention to       Usagi, then promptly starts following Mamoru home. Well, okay, I’m not       sure funny is the word I’m looking for here.              Of course, the first one goes after Naru. How could it not? Even       Luna’s noticed at this point. ^_^              Luna is at her most admirable here. She’d do just about anything to       keep from having to take Usagi’s wish away from her, but in the end, she       and Artemis are just no match for that thing.              Usagi understands, I think, both that Luna didn’t want to do it, and       what she’s just lost. That sad little smile, “So, at least we can talk       again now, right?” She doesn’t want to do it again, but she will.       After it’s all done, she sadly bids farewell to the normal life she had       wished for.              I love this closing song. That is all.              SK              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
