From: chriskern99@gmail.com              Episode 55 - Is Seijuro the Moonlight Knight? Passionate Mako-chan              The animators had fun with this episode; there are a lot of bizarre       facial expressions, distorted features, and such.              As far as I can remember, this is the only arc of the entire series       where the villians regularly interact with the main characters in       human form. Nephrite did to a certain extent, and the Amazon Trio uses       their human forms a lot more than most of the villians, but generally       the villians just show up when it's time to attack. It makes it a       little more interesting to see their "human side" (so to speak) as       well.              The cardian in this episode is kind of silly (especially when she       shampoos her hair), but one of the main differences between now and       the later seasons (S and beyond) is that the enemy is not       intentionally played for laughs.              Today the double-duty of voice acting goes to Chiyoko Kawashima, who       is Haruna-sensei but also played the cardian (Utonberino) in this       episode.              There were quite a few Mako-Ami scenes in the episode but I'll leave       that up to someone else. :)              -Chris              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
