Dumb alien.              Makoto said a few very interesting things to Seijuro up on the rooftop.        “Sometimes, we even try to do things we can’t for the people we love.        Sometimes, we’re willing to die for them.” For an episode that was       mostly filled with slapstick humor, that one line had some rather dark       implications. It’s worth noting that Makoto uses a very similar phrase       at the end, when she calls on her Dragon to protect Usagi and Ami.              I’m confused. Ail arrives on Earth and that very day starts referencing       Earth mythology, but he hasn’t figured out what lunch is yet? Dumb,       dumb alien.              Ami’s reaction to Makoto’s latest crush is interesting. She       *immediately* goes to her computer to start poking holes in the premise       that Seijuro is the Moonlight Knight. It might just be that the guy       gives her the creeps. She *does* seem to be the only person completely       immune to his charms (an interesting point all its own). However, she       also not only fails to restrain Usagi from interfering in the date, she       tags along to see for herself what’s going on.              Minako and Rei were almost written out of the episode completely. They       really weren’t needed at the end, but Minako got in one more Crescent       Beam Shower, and Rei got to ‘rescue’ Usagi and Ami in one last bit of       slapstick.              Ami-chan wishes I’d quit using the word ‘slapstick’ to describe this       episode, at least until that red mark on her back goes away. Mako-chan       doesn’t know her own strength. ^^;              SK              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
