|    200 Days of Sailor Moon - Episode 56    |

From: chriskern99@gmail.com              Episode 56 - Steal Mamoru's kiss! Ann's Snow White strategy              This episode contains the infamous line that became an eternal in-joke       on alt.fan.sailor-moon. The episode involves the girls going to help       Mamoru with a Snow White play he's doing (because everyone else drops       out). Rei suggests that she play Snow White, but Usagi says that       someone cute (like her) should do it. Makoto then says the person with       the biggest breasts should be Snow White, which is of course her (and       she points to her chest). The DiC dub changed this line to "the person       with the most talent", except that she's still pointing to her chest.       So "talent" became a euphemism for breast size. (This is actually the       first time I've seen the original scene...)              Ann appeared a lot in this episode, so there were plenty of       opportunities to hear Touma Yumi.              The senshi's over-dramatic introductions in the episode played up the       jidaigeki (historical drama) angle of the introductions. The way the       senshi introduce themselves in the battle is probably a parody, but it       has a source in actual practice, when warriors would actually       introduce themselves in that manner on the battlefield. The practice       died out when guns started being used because the people would just       get shot if they tried to do an introduction.              -Chris              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
