   I still don't think so. Though there's plenty of subtle evidence to   
   suggest that it exists, I'm don't even think *Ami's* picked up on it her   
   own attraction, which is for the best. If she did, she'd be far more   
   awkward and uncomfortable around Makoto, and what's happening right now   
   wouldn't be possible.   
      
   I think what's going on right now, and what that intro is indicative of   
   is that a partnership is being formed, kinda like Minako and Artemis or   
   Haruka and Michiru (without the romantic aspect, for the moment). They   
   can and do work with the others, but they function best as a pair, both   
   in uniform and out, and they're naturally drifting together because of it.   
      
   It's not romance... not at the moment, but it's laying foundations for a   
   very close relationship.
