I wonder       >if Ikuhara was responsible for the scenes of the rose petal falling;       >that seems like something he would do.              What bothered me the most about this arc was the sudden transition.       One moment, they are eternal lovers and then, just a few hours, maybe       even as much as a day later, Mamoru becomes convinced that Usagi will       suffer or even die if they stay together, comes up with a plan to       force them to separate and puts it into action.              I suppose I can understand that he realizes that simply explaining it       to Usagi wouldn't work, that she would gladly and without hesitation       risk her own life in order for them to stay together. However, since       they've clearly hinted that he is lying, that there are selfless       motivations for him to push her away, I wished they would have shown       more of his conflict then just a couple of troubling visions.              Although the dub went through great lengths in these last two episodes       to trivialize the relationship between Darien and Serena, the       apartment scene was amazingly well done, well acted and emotionally       crushing. It's one of those few moments that the foggy glasses cleared       up and you can see a little of the true heart behind Sailor Moon.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
