It's just       so cool looking. And it's nice that she finally has some real offense.        Shabon Spray Freezing was a bit more offensive, but still not as much       as she's been needing.       >       > Where did these new transformation wands and watches come from and why       > didn't the cats hand them out earlier? I've never quite understood how       > the cats make these things.              SK said the same thing.              Anyway, time for "Ami-Mako Speculation Time!" Beyond the infamous       'peeping' scene from the first season, for me this episode had the first       subtle hint of Makoto's view of the relationship. First off, she was       the one who clearly stated Ami's dream. Not too big of a deal there,       but SK did point out that *she* was the one who knew it. It could have       easily been Rei who had known her longer... What really stuck out to me,       however, was the look on Makoto's face when she says that Ami should go.        She looks away into the distance. It's very much akin to the way       she's talked about her senpai (when saying why she was rejected), and       the way she accepts things like a boy not liking her, etc. So in a way,       it seemed she was convincing herself that she had to accept Ami's       departure. It's a bit different from the way the other girls let go       (they have more enthusiasm). It's not much, but I do feel it's the       first moment of something that seems to be a bit more than friendship       from Makoto's point of view.              Why do I have a feeling that paragraph didn't make much sense? Too much       caffeine and sugar today. ^_-              Sunnie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
