Maybe? I mean, perhaps it's just a really well thought of private
school with a strong focus on science? And it might also be that she
would be skipping ahead to high school if she went to Germany. Skipping
a grade really wasn't an option in Japan for a long time. In one of my
culture classes back in 2001, we were discussing recent changes to the
Japanese education system, and one possibility was to allow children to
move ahead if they were truly excelling, rather than forcing them to
stay back with their class. So, one might assume that if Ami got out of
Japan (with the strict emphasis of keeping everyone together), she might
very well be advanced to a higher class. This also sort of correlates
with something I read in Warriors of Legend (which I'm currently not
putting a lot of stock in--but that's beside the point) that suggests
that many of Ami's cram schools appear to be for high school students
studying for university entrance exams, not those studing for high
school entrance exams. I have noticed she seems to be rather young
compared to her classmates, but I'm not entirely certain of the accuracy
of the statement. Anyone know any better?

That's cool, I've been wondering where you were ever since you mentioned
