|    200 Days of Sailor Moon - Episode 78    |

From: chriskern99@gmail.com              Episode 78 - Venus/Minako's nurse mayhem              This is one of the better filler episodes. Some people name is as the       best comedy episode of the series, but I disagree (this is nowhere       near as funny as the Mane Mane Monkey episode of SuperS, Minako's       double dating from SuperS, 184 from Stars, or the "looking for       friends" episode of S).              Esmeraude actually has a fairly good plan in this episode. The effect       was disguised as a normal cold so nobody noticed, and she even took       down 4 of the 5 senshi.              Minako's saying sounds much closer in Japanese because "kaze" means       both "wind" and "cold", so what Minako says is "ashita wa ashita no       kaze ga hiku" (tomorrow you'll catch tomorrow's cold) instead of       "ashita wa ashita no kaze ga fuku" (tomorrow, tomorrow's wind will       blow).              At the end, the real saying is "hito no furi o mite, waga furi naose"       (learn from other people's mistakes), but she says "hito no furi site,       ware furimae sareru" (basically "get a taste of your own medicine"       although it's not a real saying).              When Chibi-Usa and Minako are ready to cook, Luna-P has a little apron       on.              The art direction in this episode is mostly by Mr. Bubble-Head, but       there's one shot of Esmeraude where the animation suddenly gets a lot       better (there's actually shading on her face, for instance). I don't       know who did that shot; maybe it was added later, after the main work       on the episode had been done.              -Chris              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
