   One reason may be to maintain the myth. The powerful and benevolent queen   
   hardly wants the sordid tales of her youth being bandied about the crystal   
   palace. i.e. If pharoah is to be seen as god. He can't have his former   
   nursemaid regaling the court with tales of his childhood bedwetting.   
   Uranus or Neptune maybe, but I wouldn't expect something like that from   
   Usagi, so probably not.   
      
   Another reason might simply be time. A great deal of it has passed   
   between their humble beginnings and Crystal Tokyo. Recalling her   
   life as Tsukino Usagi may be too faint a memory by then to warrant   
   much story telling.   
      
   And somewhat related to that last one, she simply may not want to bring   
   up her past memories. They may be painful. The other senshi survived   
   to present day, but I don't recall it ever being said her family (mother,   
   father, brother) was sparred the passage of time.   
      
   But even given any of those were the case. Once her arrival in the past,   
   it became fairly obvious, fairly quickly to her, who Usagi was. Even   
   through her denial and doubt. So I think perhaps the best answer, is that   
   even though she may not have known initially, she did eventually figure   
   it out. So ChibiUsa probably wasn't stupid, she was in fact a malevolent   
   little pink troll.  :)

   I've wondered that too. Why it seems Usagi continued to age on to   
   full adulthood, but the others didn't.
