   The R movie takes place during the second TV season of Sailor Moon,   
   but has very little to do with it. Due to certain factors of the R   
   season and the circumstances of the movie, the movie arc could only   
   take place during a very specific time period placing it after episode   
   77, but before episode 81. Personally, I would place it smack between   
   78 and 79, two stand-alone and fairly light-hearted episodes.   
      
   This story is about the return of Fiore, an alien who fell to Earth as   
   a child, became friends with a young Mamoru and was then forced to   
   leave as he could not survive long in Earth's environment. Before he   
   left, Mamoru gave him a gift of a rose which moved Fiore so deeply   
   that he vowed to come back to Mamoru one day with wonderful flowers in   
   return.   
      
   10 years later (more or less), Fiore returns as promised but   
   unfortunately under the control of the evil Kisenian flower which must   
   destroy life to survive. The Kisenian can not do this on its own, but   
   must work through a person with a weak spirit (in this case, Fiore).   
   Now it's up to Sailor Moon and the sailor senshi to protect the Earth   
   from this invasion.   
      
   I'm posting this as a place to start. I will be returning with further   
   observations myself. Since this thread is independent from the TV   
   series, feel free to take your time watching the movie and making   
   comments. I think the S movie takes place after the S season ends, so   
   I figure that we have plenty of time before we watch the next movie.
