   Okay, my opinion of Esmeraude is going up considerably as we go along.   
   The laugh is still grating, but this is one of the best constructed and   
   subtle evil plans to come out of the series.  She just about took down   
   all the Senshi without a confrontation.  If Minako had been laid up too,   
   who knows how long it would have taken for someone to notice what was   
   happening.  Future Evil Overlords of the Sailor Moon Universe (FEOSMU,   
   for short) take note, this is how you get the job done.   
      
   The order of visits seems to be: Ami, Makoto, Rei and the Tsukino clan,   
   with everyone calling to warn the next victim (and everyone calling   
   Usagi).  Ami and Usagi seem to have the worst of the illness, but   
   everyone suffers from the cure.  Makoto’s apartment is just about   
   leveled, Rei’s CD player meets a fate worse than death, Usagi’s living   
   room is destroyed, and we don’t even see what happened to poor Ami.  And   
   of course, they all suffer the Porridge of Doom™.   
      
   Rei seems to get the easiest time with Minako, though, probably in good   
   part because she was willing to throw her out.  Sometimes it’s good to   
   have a temper.   
      
   Was it just me or was Ami very much looking just at Makoto when she was   
   talking to ‘everyone’?  I suppose hearing someone you care about say   
   that she isn’t feeling that bad is one thing, seeing it for yourself is   
   a lot more comforting.   
      
   Chibi-Usa’s efforts to step up while her family was sick were very, very   
   endearing, as was Minako, in that hapless but well-meaning way.
