I can't help but       wonder if that didn't start happening around the time we couldn't get       episode 67 either (wasn't that also due to her not liking it?)              Also, Toei has a bit to do with this. They're certainly the reason the       rights aren't in the US anymore. Basically, they were trying to start       their own US-side distribution, but screwed up royally with the two       shows they brought over. Because they had planned on doing more, they       were less willing to grant rights, and had quickly snagged back the       Sailor Moon rights as soon as they could. At least, I believe that's the       reasoning suggested by Anime News Network. It's probably just       specualation as well, but it does make sense, since Toei *did* try to       get into the American market without a middleman and did screw it up (I       can't remember which titles they attempted at the moment, but I know       they were ones I wanted to see until I heard bad things about them.) Of       course, it could jsut be that no one wants Sailor Moon       anymore--althought Tokyopop specifically said at AnimeNext that they       want to get the manga back over here.       >              Sunnie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
