   At last we begin the fateful journey into the future.  The paths of time   
   have a very weird layout, with a door at one end, guarded by Sailor   
   Pluto, and then a journey to an identical door (possibly guarded by the   
   Sailor Pluto of that time as well, though we never see her).   
      
   Luna says that Queen Serenity mentioned Sailor Pluto to her, a lone   
   warrior guarding the gates of time that no one knew about (except the   
   cat, of course)  Far be it from me to comment on a woman’s age, but   
   she’s been standing there a really long time.   
      
   Clearly things have changed since, from the isolated Time Senshi of the   
   past to the one who seems quite close to Chibi-Usa in the future.   
      
   Sailor Pluto greets Sailor Moon oddly “You’ve always been a lot of   
   trouble for me.”  This could be in reference to a lot of things.  It   
   could be that her future self is a handful, and she’s lightly teasing   
   Usagi with what’s about to be revealed.  It could be that Usagi herself   
   is a lot of trouble, especially with that whole wish rewinding time so   
   she and her friends could have a normal life.  I can also see Pluto, if   
   she’s as old as it seems and knows what may be coming, possibly   
   expending a great deal of effort making sure that all of these specific   
   girls are in the right place at the right time.  It would have been more   
   than slightly inconvenient if either Rei or Ami had ended up in their   
   father’s custody and ended up living far from Tokyo.  (All sorts of plot   
   bunnies go scurrying around at that thought.  ^_^; )   
      
   Dimande recognized Usagi immediately but Chibi-Usa didn’t.  Maybe the   
   kid’s just not as clever as I thought.  ^^;   
      
   Was it just us, or did the Planet Attack seem to be just a bit of   
   overkill here?  One of them distracting it, so Sailor Moon could dust it   
   in the brief opening would have worked just as well as the Giant   
   Overwhelming Blast of Rainbow Doom.
