From: chriskern99@gmail.com              Episode 88 - The last battle between light and dark! A love pledged       to the future              When Usagi changed into NQS, her speech became a lot more formal and       "queenlike"; I wonder if the dub did anything with this.              This is the conclusion to R. In many ways it's just a repeat of the       first season's conclusion -- the ally turned evil who has to be dealt       with, the silver crystal vs. generic world-destroying evil, and the       danger of death to Usagi. I feel that the original conclusion was       better than this one, although I did like the part at the end where       they say goodbye to Chibi-Usa and then she rejoins her parents and the       other senshi in the future. (It was nice to see C-U call Usagi       "mama")              In the manga, Chibi-Usa transforms to Sailor Chibi Moon here and Death       Phantom gets destroyed by double Moon Princess Halation. In general       the anime considerably reduced Chibi-Usa's role and in particular       weakened her ability as a fighter (in the manga, for instance, Pink       Sugar Heart Attack is a serious attack that actually kills one of the       monsters in S). I wonder why this was done.              -Chris              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
