From: chriskern99@gmail.com              Episode 90 - Premonition of world destruction! ****              I was trying to see if I could detect any shift in tone or mood from       the first two seasons. I'm not sure there really is one.              This season introduces a major new method of operation for the enemies       which is then repeated in SS and Stars. Rather than gathering energy       or any other large scale operation, they need to find a certain person       with a particular object (or in this case, objects) in their body.       The monster no longer has to survive for the operation to be a success       -- simply determining that there was no talisman is all that's       necessary.              I've always wondered why Rei doesn't tell everyone else about her       dream. Even after the new enemies show up she doesn't tell them.              There's one shot where the animators were lazy or forgot to draw in       the restraints around the senshi -- they're just standing up against       the trees.              There are a lot of new voice actors in this episode. Of course Uranus       is Ogata Megumi, who has done a lot of stuff (Petz in SMR, Shinji in       Evangelion). Neptune is Katsuki Masako, who did Reccoa Rondo in Z       Gundam. Kaolinite is Kamimura Naoko, who was Queen Metallia in the       first season. The Professor is Kamiya Akira, who played a large       number of roles (including the leads of a series of 70's and 80's       super robot shows, including Gaiking, Raideen, Daimos, and Getter       Robo).              -Chris              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
