He slowly warps       Chibi-Usa’s memories to convince her that she was never loved,       convincing her to accept the power of the Black Crystal. It’s a much       more subtle brainwashing than anything Mamoru goes through. More of an       enforced change of heart. Someone once wrote that anyone can be       convinced of anything, as long as they're deeply afraid that it might be       true. Wiseman plays on all of Chibi-Usa's deepest fears to convince her       that she really is alone in the world.              Even with Esmeraude’s death, Dimande isn’t listening to Saphir’s       warnings about Wiseman. All of a sudeden, he’s gone from obsessed with       Sailor Moon/Serenity to obsessed with revenge. I wonder if Wiseman       isn’t quietly reining in his puppet prince.              Pluto appears to the others, telling them that Dimande and Chibi-Usa       have headed to the past, and they hurry to follow. No sooner do they       arrive than they see the growing black crystal and head off to fight,       only to be confronted by Black Lady.              First confrontation between the Senshi and Black Lady, you see a few       real memories, courtesy of the Silver Crystal, before Wiseman starts       warping them again, including the explanation for one of the earlier       ‘negative’ ones. Chibi-Usa’s birthday party was delayed a day so her       parents could be there, and a surprise party besides (not a good       combination, at that age *I’d* spend all day thinking no one bothered, too)              We really get a look at the older Senshi, and they do seem to have aged.        Ami in particular has a much more mature face, and maybe a little       added height. She’s also right beside Makoto at the birthday party.       ^_^ The Senshi attend the party in uniform, and without any significant       others in sight. Both are interesting observations, just what have       these girls had to give up to see this utopia created?              Amazing what you can read into a five second scene, eh? ^_^              Anyway, we're slowly trying to get caught up a bit, or at least not fall       any further behind.              SK              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
