   Episode 105 - I want power!  Makoto's uncertainty   
      
   This (along with 107) is sort of a forgettable episode for the most   
   part; it comes late enough in S that I'm ready for some more plot   
   development, and compared to the plot-developing 106 and 109, and the   
   hilarious 103, 104, and 108, it just doesn't quite stand out.   
      
   The most interesting thing about it to me is the opening scene with   
   this daimon called Iron-Der, who does not appear in the series except   
   in this flashback.  As far as I know, this is the only instance in the   
   series where there's the implication that the senshi fight other   
   off-screen battles than the ones we're shown.  I wonder how many there   
   are?   
      
   A distinct lack of Ami-Mako scenes given the Makoto-centerdness of the   
   episode.  I wonder if the animation staff had turned over and maybe   
   the new staff didn't know about the inside joke or something like   
   that.
