   I think it was just more of the inattentive and slipshod work of this   
   whole translation production. I feel sure that someone vets the   
   episodes shortly before they actually air and it wasn't until then   
   that they suddenly decided they could not show this episode without   
   alteration. And yes, continuing with this slovenly process, I'm sure   
   they didn't bother checking that SuperS episode until the last minute   
   as well.
