   Yup. Instead of this majestic, silence moment of mounting tension as   
   each of the senshi takes her post and assumes her power stance, the   
   dub has them calling out to each other with "Planet Power telepathy"   
   (to explain why their lips are not moving) saying things like "This is   
   Venus! Completing contact phase!". And at the end, where in the   
   original they simply call out "Sailor Moon", in the dub they say "We   
   are one, we are unity, planets unite, Sailor Moon!". It makes your   
   ears bleed to listen to this travesty.

   Likewise, the first time to me it just seemed like something that they   
   made up on the spot. But this time around, when I saw the shield, I   
   immediately thought to myself that this must have been the same thing   
   they used in the future. Then I start to analyze it too much,   
   wondering how they can maintain such a constant power output without   
   collapsing from exhaustion. Maybe they channel an infinite source of   
   power and can keep going forever?
