I found it interesting that the villains were killed mostly       of their own (or of their peers) actions. With one exception, there       was no Queen Beryl meriting out punishment for failure.              >SuperS -       >       >This season has always been interesting because, while most people who       >had actually seen the season said it was good, many people who had not       >seen it were convinced it was the worst of the seasons. Of course none of these       >(other than the absence of the outer senshi) are really accurate       >descriptions of the season. I also avoided the season for a long time       >because of what people said about it, but when I actually did watch it       >I enjoyed it a lot. Sure, it's mostly filler (although I still don't       >think it has as much filler as Classic). But the filler is very high       >quality and brings back a lot of minor characters that the series had       >dropped during S. Plus it has Nehelenia, who is played by my favorite       >voice actor (Yoshiko Sakakibara).              I'm pretty sure that this was the first season I watched in the       original Japanese format because this was the first season that VKLL       subtitled. It seems that one group was working on an English dub of       Super, so VKLL moved on to SuperS.              Of all the various villain attacks, I think the ones in this season       were the most disturbing of the entire series. Yet, that does not keep       the villains from being engaging and you eventually find yourself       sympathizing with them, particularly Fisheye.              OK, for the schedule of movies and specials, I plan to watch the       SuperS Special next weekend (With the one appearance of H&M in       SuperS). According to Doi's episode guide, it comes between episodes       131 and 132. As for the movie and Ami-chan's First Love, I think both       of those can wait until the end of SuperS since they use a different       power-up from the TV season.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
