   Remember also, this was a very long shoot,  nearly an episode a week so they   
   had to take a lot os short ucts. But I agree that the series does grow on   
   you. I had some trouble until I was able to accept that the story line &   
   character development were different than the anime or manga. And, we   
   shouldnt forget that Naoko-sama was closely associated and approved of the   
   series.
