Also, I       was simply shocked at how very good the dub of this episode was. When       Tigerseye met Saori, he was speaking in French and used a French       accent, even counting in French. It was actually fantastic and worked       quite well.              Chibiusa dissenters have presented this episode as an example of how       Usagi's personality has taken a turn for the worse in SuperS, becoming       childlike and petulant while Chibiusa is portrayed as the mature and       responsible one of the pair.              >The first few Lemures were relatively serious, but this balloon       >Pooko-chan is anything but. Some of the SuperS monsters are even       >sillier than the S monsters (and then there's Stars, with such       >luminaries as Sailor Guts and Sailor Chef...)              I think they are trying to strike a balance between a humorous and yet       grave situation. Personally, I like it and find the MOTD funny, but       the situations still emotionally deep and meaningful.              BTW, when the MOTD is vanquished, all the associated props usually       disappear along with the monster. I noticed that the knives pinning       Mamoru down remained behind this time.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
