   Ah, the seasonal swimsuit episode.

Ami's consistent reaction to the idea of love and boys has been
interesting. In every case where the others girls are going off the
deep end in their mad hunt for boyfriends, Ami is always hanging back
and the expression on her face is always distinctly different from the
   others.

In this episode, Ami gave a long heartfelt talk about her dreams and
her vision of love and the future. I'm not sure if her references were
gender-free, or if she distinctly spoke of wanting to eventually meet
the boy of her dreams. She did say that she would like a big noisy
   family like Usagi's.

Now *that's* funny! I was wondering why the refusal to say the word.
   ^_^

The dub was OK this time around but the voice for the lemures was so
squeaky that you could not understand a word she was saying.

The lesson for today is clearly about the platonic love of friendship.
It also drove the first chink into TE's armor. The idea of simply
liking someone as a friend was obviously alien to him (and likely the
others in the Trio as well) until he saw it demonstrated by Ami.
