I see this differently. I think that Chibiusa's queries in       this episode made Pegasus reconsider his position in the next one.              Anyway, here is my take on this. In the original release of this       season, nine months have passed for the viewers since SuperS       premiered. Nine months of mostly filler episodes (much of it good       stuff, but still filler). In preparation for the finale, which is just       around the corner, I think the writers decided to remind the audience       that there is still a mystery to be revealed. In addition, despite all       the near misses, Chibiusa still has no idea of her own role in the       Dead Moon plans. So this episode reminds us that Chibiusa is still in       the dark and that we, the audience, still don't know just who Pegasus       is or why the Dead Moon people want to capture him.              This 'reminder' sets us up for the mystery to start to unfold with the       very next episode.              --       Phoenix       www.phoenixanime.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
