   Episode 173 - A parting and an encounter! Destiny of the shooting   
   stars   
      
   This is a good episode in a number of ways. It shows that Usagi really   
   has matured since the first season, and Luna acknowledges that -- in a   
   great scene where Usagi goes up to Chibi-Usa's room in the attic   
   (which is apparently still set up for her) and looks at a picture of   
   them.   
      
   Mamoru's claim that he is "so busy" he won't be able to contact Usagi   
   for a while was obviously put in there to explain why Usagi can go for   
   20 episodes or so without getting any notice from him and not getting   
   worried. But it's a pretty lame excuse. (As an aside, the same guy   
   with the crazy theory about Mamoru and Chibi-Usa also claimed that   
   Mamoru made it to the US and just didn't contact Usagi.)   
      
   Ami is great in this episode.   
      
   Finally, they remixed the ED song -- it now ends on an unresolved   
   diminished chord, which makes it seem much sadder.
