   True, this was a major shock. All of them, all at once.   
      
   If you look carefully at the scene just after Galaxia collected their   
   star seeds, you can see that the senshi each shielded one particular   
   person. Mercury protected Maker (Taiki), Jupiter protected Healer   
   (Yaten), Venus protected Fighter (Seiya) and Mars placed herself   
   squarely in front of Sailor Moon. When Sailor Moon cradled Mars in her   
   arms and then tried to snatch back that one final essense of Mars   
   which burst in her hand, it just hit me so hard.

   At least now she knows that he did not abandon her.
