   Err... if I'm remembering this correctly (my media player is   
   nonfunctional at the moment, so I can't easily check), turning dark was   
   what signified that a star seed was *not* the real thing. If the Sailor   
   Senshi have true star seeds, it's only natural that they would not lose   
   their light like all of the pale imitations.
