|    200 Days of Sailor Moon - Episode 200    |

Episode 200 - Usagi's love! The moonlight illuminates the galaxy!

Near the beginning Chaos-Galaxia adds to the information about the
Sailor Wars; apparently they've been repeating themselves over and
over again since the beginning of the galaxy. Presumably Chaos gets
sealed every time but then breaks out again. It's interesting that
Chaos-Galaxia wants to end the cycle whereas the Light of Hope
essentially wants to continue it by having Sailor Moon defeat Chaos
(and thus presumably become the next Chaos senshi). Sailor Moon
luckily realizes that's not the answer. However, I'm a little confused
why some people on the afsm group seemed to think that Sailor Moon was
dumb for not fighting with the sword; this is more clear-cut a
situation than in S when she gave away the sacred cup.

Sailor Moon: "If 'warrior's pride' means hurting other people, then I
   don't want it."

The second half is well-known for its extended sequence with Usagi
fully nude; this presumably would have caused some difficulty for the
dubbers but we'll (most likely) never get to see how they would have
dealt with it. Overall the scene is very effective; with Sailor Star
Song providing good background music and the scene culminating in
   Usagi and Galaxia joining hands.

Then, the coda which forms the final scenes of the series I thought
were very good -- so often anime have terrible endings but I thought
this one was well-done, with everyone coming back to Usagi, then the
Starlights leaving (with Luna still crushing on Yaten and Usagi still
clueless, with one last scene of the girls fighting). The final
dialogue of Haruka and Michiru ("there's nothing to wish for; we're
happiest right now") always makes me tear up a little. Then finally
they have a nice dialogue between Usagi and Mamoru, ending by bringing
back the opening narration from the 1st season, and then Moonlight
Densetsu for the first time in the season, after which the girls all
   say "that's the end!"
