Yes, it was a lot of fun going through it all again. I found I had
forgotten quite a few of the key points so much of it still felt new.

Chances are that I will never go through the complete series again. I
have a lot to owe to Sailor Moon since it was the very first series all
those years ago to catch my attention (even though it was dubbed) and
start me looking into this thing called 'anime'.

I don't think I have a favorite season as such. If I need a favorite of
some kind, it would be the 6 ep arc at the start of Stars and the least
favorite part of the series was the Ann and Ail story.

Yes, but I don't believe they had intended to take the series past the
Queen Beryl battle so no real need to develop it more than they did. once
it was renewed, they seemed to put a little more effort into it.

I don't have either of those series so I won't be watching along. You
should really concider Sailor Moon live action even if it's after an
extended Sailor Moon break! The first episode is very similar to the
anime, but it diverges soon after, both the story and the characters are
quite different. It's only 51 episodes and if you don't have it, I've got
   it all on 3 DVDs.
