They spent 8 episodes wrapping up Stars. I would have preferred two
additional filler episodes and then had them wrap it up in six. There
were just too many scenes where we seemed to go over the same issues
again and again. There were just too many trips back and forth from
Galaxia's throne to the TV studio, back to the throne, back to the
studio and so on. In particular, episodes 197, 198 and 199 could
certainly have been trimmed to two episodes.

That was an odd motive. But it makes sense in a way. That is, whoever
found the star seed would be using Galaxia's own power to once again
seal Chaos. It would be her providing the real power. The person
wielding the power of Galaxia would only be her proxy.
